"I finally got through to making an appointment and admitted due to long lane traffic I was 15 minutes late tfoe the appointment I was told to sit and wait and see if the doctor is happy to still see me, 15 minutes later the receptionist calls me over and says no the doctor refuses to see me as I was late.
I asked if I can sit & wait or make another appointment today, tomorrow or Friday and told no as all appointments booked for the next 2 weeks and only emergency appointments are available on the day if you manage to get through at either 8.50am or 2.15pm and I can tell you the phone is constantly engaged from previous experiences.
I would be happy if another appointment was made for me but the fact that on every occasion when Iâve been to see the doctor I have arrived before my scheduled time and most often than not had to wait at least 15 minutes or more and I have never complained to the doctor.
I have sent them an email with the level of service as I think they should be made aware of such situations."
