"1. After consultation at Artesian Grange Road, the Locum says she cannot print out Blood Test Form in her surgery. Scribbled on a torn piece of paper and asked me to take it to reception, saying I can get it there.
2. 2 Receptionists said it is 'unprofessional' to have that piece of paper for blood form and they can't print. Not really interested to solve the problem. Then the Locus came out to reception and I took opportunity to tell her I cannot get that test form. Receptionists and locum have difference of opinion in front of me as to what is the best out come. Doctor went back to her surgery. I do not have a form.
3. Waited for Receptionist who eventually said she'll ring Decima St to get me that Blood test form. Waited altogether 40 mins, she says I can get the form at Decima the next day.
4. Afternoon of the next day, went to Decima. NO RECORD of any form requested or done.
The good receptionist there assessed the situation and waited till one of the Doctors there is free and finally got me that form. It is an appalling waste of time and manpower and the lack of communication between the Artesian doctor and the receptionists were distressing to witness and the patient is left in the middle. Please don't let the NHS to run down this way, these are avoidable unprofessional behaviour."
