"A constant problem I, and other members of my family have is with the reception team. When I phone with a request they usually have three reasons why they cannot help me with it.
They have no basic courtesy and have had no interpersonal skills training. The rudeness and incompetence is breathtaking. I was, separately, given instructions by two of the team, which I followed, only to be told later by a third that I was in the wrong for following those instructions because they were incorrect.
Hanging up the phone mid call seems to be an accepted method of dealing with patients.
Once you get past the reception challenges and see a doctor you experience the professional treatment you would expect from The Glorious NHS. But don't expect to see the same doctor twice. There is a very high churn of medical staff at this surgery which has caused continuity problems with my treatment."
