"I had today an appointment with the ldoctor, and i started to explain what was going on. I told her I was in Romania on holiday, and i had some pain and i went to doctor. After having blood tests done, they realised I have helicobacter pylori. They prescribed me straight away some antibiotics to take. After finishing the antibiotics and came back, i wanted to have some blood tests done to check if i still have it. Test came negative. I was happy of the results, but after few months pain came back, tried to call the surgery. They never had appts.
I called even for emergency, no appointments available .
Finally i booked for a day with this doctor hoping that i would receive some care, explaining that my stomach aches are worse every day, that i feel the need of vomit after each meal, and doesnât go away for days.
The answer was that i did not had helicobacter pylori, and in my country they give antibiotics for everything, which was really insulting.
She prescribed me some medicine, and i asked her to do some tests on me or to reffer me to hospital as this is going on for too much.
At the end i was prescribed medication, not action taken to be reffered or to listen and understand my side.
Very disappointed with this gp.
I feel not being taken seriously,
The sad thing is that doctors forgot why they become doctors in the first place.
Very sad."
