"I have never really had much issues with this surgery and have found a doctor very helpful although this time around i feel extremely let down and as a result have registered with another surgery. Contacting the surgery in a morning is beyond a joke. Phonelines are advertised to be opened at 8.00am, i call at 8.01 and found the automated message claiming the surgery is now closed and opening hours are from 8.00am. Several calls later the phone lines eventually opened after 8.15. I was informed i was number 1 in the queue but 6 minutes later with no answer i had no choice to hang up, it took 19 calls to the surgery before i was able to speak with someone, i was given an appointment fpr a few hours later which is one thing this surgery is really good at however i had been ill for the past 3 months, had tests for suspected asthma (had been told after a breathing test at the manor by the technician that he had no doubts in his mind that i have ashtma) the inhalers wernt working fully and as a result i have been getting worse. I had seen the nurse practitioner and told her the history i explained how iv been feeling worse, my lungs, chest, ribs are very painful, i habe a constant cough to the point i feel like im going to pass out, i havent slept properly in 3 months due to this and i am exchausted. I was hoping she might have been able to help woth my symptoms, however she checked my stats told me my chest was clear ( id had inhaler 1.5 hours earlier) told me nothing was wrong with me and i dont have asthma and to go to the follow up for my and she air quoted " suspected asthma" i left the surgery that day, in pain, knowing i wasnt going to get support from then and completely deflated. At the time i really need them i found they failed me terribly. Its been 3 days since the appointment, i havent gotten any better, im getting worse im in constant pain and im expected to allow myself to have an asthma attack by not taking treatment just so she can see for herself. I was made to feel like a liar. I have registered elsewhere now and hopefully i will get the help i need"
