ABOUT LOCAL GP - DR J K NAYAR
Welcome to the Newland Health Centre. Previously known as the University Health Centre the Practice was historically affiliated to the University of Hull and is situated directly opposite and virtually on the campus of the university itself. Being purpose built and only recently refurbished, the health centre meets current premises standards and has easy access for the disabled.
Although we recognise that there is limited scope on this website for adding information about important developments and the services which we provide, we do hope that the following pages will provide you with just a glimpse of what goes on in our Practice. More detailed information can be found on our individual website at

It may sound like a cliché but we really are interested in what you have to say about our Practice, it helps us to focus on the important things. Specific complaints are always investigated fully and reported on under the NHS Complaints Procedure, although anonymous comments can often be much more difficult to get to the bottom of mainly because we receive no additional information and the comments themselves can frequently lack sufficient detail. Nevertheless, every one is treated seriously and acted upon wherever possible.
